Puppy and Kitten Care

Cute, cuddly and sooooo sweet! Bring in a little one and word spreads through the clinic like wild fire. "Did you see the new patient in room one? I couldn't resist giving him kisses. He is so cute." After that though, it is all business. We are here to ensure your precious baby gets the best possible start in life by helping you navigate though the mounds of information about vaccines, heartworm and flea prevention, nutrition, and potty training.

Emergency Care

"A serious, unexpected, and often dangerous situation

Dental Care

Dental care is very often overlooked when it comes to the healthcare of pets. It should not be! Aside from the fact that that a cavity or an oral ulcer can be very painful, just as with human teeth, plaque causes tooth decay, gum inflammation and recession, oral lesions and can eventually allow toxins to absorb into the blood stream. Once in the bloodstream the bacteria can settle in the lining of the heart or heart valves, cause kidney damage or joint problems.

Companion Laser

Laser therapy is a noninvasive procedure that uses light to stimulate cell regeneration. It increases the blood circulation to specific areas in order to speed up recovery for acute and chronic injuries, sprains and strains, arthritis, swelling due to back disc problems, and muscular-skeletal abnormalities. It can also help to regenerate nerve tissue after surgery.

Heartworm Treatment

Heartworm treatment can feel like a long, scary, expensive process. The American Heartworm Society has set forth guidelines for veterinarians to follow and to help owners understand the process. Even with this information, it can be overwhelming. At Paws and Class Animal Clinic, we will walk you through the process, step by step, and take the time to make sure you understand what to expect.

Geriatrics

It use to be, when the pet you loved reached the "golden years" they just got old. Thankfully, that is not the case these days. There are so many effective options to help ease the aches and pains of getting older. If your pet is stiff in the morning, having trouble getting up, doesn't want to go up and down stairs anymore, the answer may be as simple as an inexpensive, over the counter joint supplement. Schedule an appointment and learn how you can help your baby grow old with spunk.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound uses sound waves transmitted into the body to create an image. It can be used to help diagnose or rule out conditions such as bladder stones, to pinpoint and retrieve biopsies from a mass, to look for fluid in the chest or abdomen, and to look for the tiny little heartbeats in a mom to be. It is an important, non-invasive, diagnostic tool used daily at Paws and Claws Animal Clinic.

Digital Radiology

Lets face it, most of us look at an x-ray and have absolutely no clue what we are seeing. Digital Radiology gives the veterinarian the ability to adjust the image to better explain the issue at hand by making the image bigger, brighter, or darker. It also means your pet's image can easily be transported to a specialist if needed, saving you money.
